What counts as an active user?
What counts as an active user?
A seat is taken by anyone who can sign in to your organisation today. A suspended account does not occupy a seat — suspend whoever has left and the seat returns to you immediately, with no email to us and no waiting for a billing cycle.
An external guest invited to one specific meeting is not a user and is not counted: they receive a calendar link and attend, with no account and no access to anything beyond what they were invited to.
Why are meetings unlimited on every plan?
Because their marginal cost to us is zero unless they are transcribed. A tool that charges you by the number of meetings you hold pushes you into not documenting some of them — which costs the tool its entire purpose for the sake of one line in a pricing table.
What is capped is automatic action-item extraction alone, because it alone consumes compute we buy on demand. As long as that is our real limit, it is the only limit we write down.
How we contract today
Diwan is in its founding-customer stage, and self-registration is closed by a written decision until the independent security review is complete. That means contracting happens with us directly: we open your organisation, run one setup session with you in under an hour, and you begin.
We do not ask for a credit card to open an organisation, and there is no mandatory annual contract on the first paid plan. The annual plan saves you two months in exchange for a one-year commitment — an option, not a condition.
Non-profits and educational institutions: Non-profit associations and educational institutions get a dedicated discount agreed case by case, and organisations that require an install on a server in a specific location get separate contractual pricing. Write to us and you will get a number, not a promise.
Questions about pricing
Is the free plan a trial that expires?
No. It is a permanent plan with the limits written in the table above, and it stays open for as long as your organisation does. Whoever needs more upgrades when they need to.
What happens when we reach our plan's limit?
You see the warning before the limit, not after. Whatever reached its limit stops accepting more; nothing is deleted and your organisation is not closed. Upgrading lifts the limit immediately.
Can we change plans at any time?
Yes, up and down. Renewal counts from the later of the two dates so that days you already paid for are never swallowed, and moving down does not delete your data — it returns the limits to your new plan.
Can we export our data if we end the subscription?
Yes. A full export of minutes, tasks and files in open formats is a core commitment and is included on every plan, the free one included.
What currency are the prices in, and do they include tax?
Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and exclude value-added tax. Tax is added on the invoice where it is due, shown with both its rate and its amount.
