Notion hands you a blank canvas and excellent tools to build your own system on it. That is both its strength and its price: whoever builds a good system gets something better than any ready-made product, and whoever does not gets scattered pages only one person can navigate.

When Notion is the right choice

If you have someone with the time and the appetite to design and maintain your system, your needs shift too much for a fixed structure, and you like documents and databases being the same thing — Notion gives you flexibility no ready-made product will, Diwan included.

When arranging the tool becomes work in itself.
